WHAT IS A BOOKMARK OR FAVORITE?

It's a way to save the name of a website that you like so you can find it again. It's like writing your friends name in your address book.
All browsers have a way to save your favorite links so you can find pages again.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BOOKMARK AND A FAVORITE?

Nothing really. It's rather like the difference between a rock and a stone, just a name.
Bookmarks is the name that Netscape uses for your ‘address book’.
Favorites is the name Internet Explorer and ALO use for their ‘address book’.

HOW DO I BOOKMARK A PAGE?

Microsoft Internet Explorer or AOL

1. Click on Favorites in your Internet Explorer’s menu at top of your computer screen, above this window
   
2. Click on Add to Favorites option: click on a folder (if you want to put in folder)
   
3. Click OK button.

1. Click on "Communicator" at top of your computer screen, above this window in your Netscape browser's menu
   
2. Click on Add Bookmark (or highlight File Bookmark and then highlight a specific folder to keep bookmarks better organized)

OR: Right click somewhere on your chosen page that does not have a link, then choose ‘add bookmark’ from the menu selection.

CAN I BOOKMARK ANY PAGE ON YOUR SITE?

Almost. You can bookmark any page UNLESS you customize a card. These pages are created for each individual and are not bookmarkable. They vanish once you leave unless you send the card to someone. A card that has been sent can be bookmarked but the card will be deleted after 60 days and no longer be available.
